- Direct Submissions: We collect information you provide directly through contact forms, emails, or phone calls, such as when you request a site discovery assessment or a consultation.
- Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection.
- Cookies & Caching: We use cookies for your convenience, such as saving login details (2 days) or comment information (1 year). This site utilizes local caching to facilitate faster response times; these temporary files are not accessed by third parties.
- No Image Uploads: User image uploads are not permitted on this site; therefore, no EXIF location data is collected or stored.
II. Payment Privacy (CSG Forte)
All payment transactions are processed securely via CSG Forte.
- Secure Processing: We collect personal and transaction information to fulfill orders and prevent fraud.
- No Local Storage: We do not store or see your full credit card numbers or bank account details on our local servers; your data is handled directly by CSG Forte’s PCI-compliant environment.
III. Data Security & Wisconsin Rights

- Breach Notification: In accordance with Wis. Stat. § 134.98, Nordic Forge will notify you in the event of a confirmed unauthorized acquisition of your personal information that creates a material risk of identity theft or fraud. By visiting our site or requesting a consultation, you engage in our “Service” and agree to these Terms. You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence. You may not use our site or products for any illegal purpose or transmit any malicious code.
Section 2: Initial Service Engagement
- Consultations & Audits: Preliminary strategic guidance provided on this site, including risk assessments, is for consulting purposes only. Professional technical oversight is only established through a signed Master Service Agreement (MSA) or Statement of Work (SOW).
- Remote Access: By requesting on-demand remote support or a discovery assessment, you grant us permission to access your systems remotely.
- Shared Backup Responsibility: For non-managed clients or initial assessments, you are solely responsible for maintaining current backups of all data. Nordic Forge is not liable for data loss during one-time repairs, assessments, or hardware failures.
Section 3: Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Wisconsin law, Nordic Forge’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data loss.
3. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms and all initial service engagements are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any legal proceedings arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Wisconsin.
